WARRANTY COWBOY RENOVATING AND CONTRACTING WARRANTY AND LEGAL CONTRACT INFORMATION*

1 Year warranty on all workmanship. All Cowboy Renovating and Contracting projects require a 50% deposit before and additional 50% upon completion of project. Paid upon completion as per contract. Accounts unpaid after 2 weeks will result in either collections, construction lien with legal action. Payment Arrangements may be made only before signing of contract. No exceptions.

All pictures, advertisements, videos are the intellectual property of Cowboy Renovating and Contracting. All rights reserved. Any duplication of Cowboy Renovating and Contracting intellectual property will result in legal action. No exceptions.

When signing a contract with Cowboy Renovating and Contracting allow 6-8 weeks for project installation. All weather permitting. This year because of unforeseen circumstances projects may be delayed. Cowboy Renovating and Contracting is not responsible for any job delays created by either client, manufacturer or transport company.

All utility locates are handled by third-party services. Private locates including irrigation lines are customer's responsibility. Customer is responsible for marking all property lines. Property pins or stakes must be present before construction begins no exceptions.

Cowboy Renovating and Contracting Guarantees that all products shall be supplied with the normal tolerances, variations, and limitations and that all service work shall be completed in a good and workmanlike manner, as is familiar within the fence industry. Cowboy Renovating and Contracting does not carry any warranty on any materials including hardware. No exceptions.

Cowboy Renovating and Contracting is a zero-tolerance company. Our employees have the same workplace rights as other organizations. Please be kind and respectful. Any will result in cancellation of your contract and loss of deposit followed by legal action and police involvement. No exceptions.

Once a contract is signed, there will be no changes made to contract unless a change order has been signed and accepted by Cowboy Renovating and Contracting and the customer for the extra charges.

*Specific Terms and Conditions*

- Old fence and or deck removal: When removal is done, price quoted is for cutting post down just below grade level and to dispose. Any posts with concrete to be removed requested by customer will result in an additional initial charge.

- Post hole only and footings: Cowboy Renovating and Contracting will not carry any warranty on post hole job since Cowboy Renovating and Contracting is not building the final product.

- Material defects: Cowboy Renovating and Contracting is not responsible for material defects after completion of project. Drying of lumber, twisting, cracking, warping, rotting, flacking, peeling etc.

- Gate warranty: All gates will be covered under normal intended use for 30 days from time of project completion.

- Change orders: $165.00 plus the cost of materials and a additional $85.00 per hour until the changes of construction is completed.

- Top soil: Cowboy Renovating and Contracting does not supply top soil to cover footings after post install. Dirt from site is used to fill the top of footings. If customer request top soil to be used this can be done as an extra charge.

- Materials used for all projects during construction belong to Cowboy Renovating and Contracting. Scraps, cut offs, extra left over materials all belong to Cowboy Renovating and Contracting. No exceptions.

*Warranty Claims*

All warranty claims by the customer shall be forwarded in writing including a copy of the original sales order, to Cowboy Renovating and Contracting prior to the expiry of the warranty period. Normal and intended uses specifically does not include, piling of snow, earth or other materials either on or against the product.

*Governing Law*

This Contract will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

*Payment Terms*

The customer agrees to pay Cowboy Renovating and Contracting a total of $[PRICE] for the installation of the fence. Payment will be made as follows:

- 50% upon signing of this Contract ( 60% for custom orders such as Cedar)

- 50% upon completion of the fence and or deck installation

*Cancellation Fee*

Any cancellation of Cowboy Renovating and Contracting contract will result in a $400.00 cancellation fee and legal action. Any refund made from a credit card purchase will result in a $25.00 charge and a 50% restocking fee due to nonreturnable materials(custom orders such as cedar)

Acknowledgement

By engaging in any business with Cowboy Renovating and Contracting—including but not limited to signing any invoice, proposal, or agreement—the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined in this contract. These terms apply to all projects and services provided by Cowboy Renovating and Contracting, without exception.

WINDOW INSTALLATION WARRANTY & CONTRACT

Cowboy Renovating and Contracting General Warranty and Payment Terms

1-year warranty on all workmanship related to window installations. All Cowboy Renovating and Contracting projects require a 50% deposit before commencement and the remaining 50% upon completion of the project. Accounts unpaid after 14 days from completion may result in collections, a construction lien, or legal action. Payment arrangements must be made before signing the contract. No exceptions.

Intellectual Property

All images, advertisements, and videos are the intellectual property of Cowboy Renovating and Contracting. All rights reserved. Unauthorized use or duplication of this material will result in legal action. No exceptions.

Project Timeline and Delays

Allow 6–8 weeks from the date of contract signing for project scheduling and installation, weather permitting. Delays may occur due to manufacturer backorders, supplier delays, or transportation issues. Cowboy Renovating and Contracting is not responsible for delays outside of our control.

Utility Locates and Site Preparation

Utility locates for any required site work will be completed by third-party services. It is the customer’s responsibility to identify and clearly mark any private lines, such as irrigation or lighting. Property lines must be clearly marked before the start of construction. No exceptions.

Product and Workmanship Guarantee

Cowboy Renovating and Contracting ensures all window installations are performed in a professional and workmanlike manner, following industry standards. We do not carry any warranty on materials, seals, glass, or hardware supplied by manufacturers. All manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are passed directly to the customer.

Respect and Zero Tolerance Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or disrespectful behavior. Our employees are entitled to a safe and respectful work environment. Any violations will result in contract cancellation, forfeiture of deposit, and legal or police action. No exceptions.

Change Orders

On Custom windows there will be no change of order or adjustments once contract is signed, custom window orders have a final sale no exceptions

Specific Terms and Conditions

- Window Removal: Standard removal includes safe extraction of existing windows. Additional charges may apply for windows that require special handling (e.g., historical windows, aluminum capping removal).

- Disposal: Debris from removed windows will be disposed of. Additional disposal fees apply for non-standard materials.

- Material Defects: We are not responsible for post-installation issues such as seal failure, glass fogging, or frame warping due to manufacturer defects.

- Caulking and Insulation: Caulking is done using industry-grade sealant. Re-caulking due to home shifting or weather conditions is not covered under warranty.

- Change Orders: $165.00 plus material costs and $85.00/hour labor until the additional work is complete.

- Materials Ownership: All materials delivered and unused remain the property of Cowboy Renovating and Contracting unless otherwise agreed.

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing with a copy of the original sales order before the warranty expires. Warranty does not cover improper use such as forcing window mechanisms, or the buildup of ice, water, or snow.

Governing Law

This contract will be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Payment Terms

The customer agrees to pay Cowboy Renovating and Contracting a total of $[PRICE] for the window installation. Payment will be made as follows:

- 50% upon signing of this contract

- 50% upon completion of window installation

Cancellation Fee

Cancellation after contract signing incurs a $400.00 cancellation fee. All sales are final—no returns, refunds, or exchanges. Refunds on credit card payments are subject to a $25.00 processing fee. There is a 50% restocking fee for custom orders (e.g., non-standard or energy-efficient windows). Due to the custom nature of our work, Cowboy Renovating and Contracting maintains a strict zero-return policy. No exceptions.
